How to compose a simple drum beat

Fl studio is a DAW ( Digital Audio Workstation), its also now a professional mixing DAW. I will show you how to compose a simple beat very quick and easy...this beat is super easy to beginners.

Here are some steps to some specific beats that will get you started to make your own.

  STEPS

1. First thing first, run the software (Fl 8, 9, 10, 11, 12). Open the Fl studio in your computer.

2. Make a sample.  First set your tempo to 130BPM. Lets input our first sample, go to "browser" you will find it at the left side of your computer. Then look for any kick and import it by dragging or sending it to the pattern dialog.

After which, Fill in the kick sample. As shown in the image below

Now, we'll have to fill up our pattern to make it a drum loop. Import the samples you may want to use, just like we imported the "kick" from the browser

Since you are learning from me you' av got to use my examples right??? don't mind me it's just a joke...

 Import "FLS_Elec", "FLS_Rim 01", "FPC_Carib". and fill them up as shown in the picture below:

 After all the procedures might have been successfully completed, this should be what you get.
